spring, where you at?

sweater: lfstores | belt: asos | jeans: joe's jeans | shoes: french connection | sunnies: ray-ban
It amazes me the fluctuation in the weather lately. I will be covered in a turtleneck sweater one day & then frolcking in a sun dress the next. I need mother nature to make up her mind so I can get my closet in order ;)

high / low

dress: forever21 | shoes: stuart weitzman | sunnies: ray-ban

I have been working on mastering the art of mixing high & low price point items when it comes to my wardrobe lately. I am definitely getting too old to be buying quantity over quality and I have learned to appreciate well-crafted items with my job as a stylist. For me, I have been focusing on classic items & pieces I will get a ton of use out of. See shoes: I have worn these for three years now.

scarf: hermes | jacket: zara | tee: target | jeans: paige | shoes: vince

My new favorite trend is for sure the neckerchief. I have been living in this silk scarf.. thus proving I might need to invest in another ;)

feeling fancy & french

sunglasses: prada | leather jacket: all saints | shirt: banana republic | scarf:hermes | jeans: dl1961***

fringe benefits

tee: old navy | jean jacket: zara | skirt: elizabeth & james | belt: asos | shoes: sam edelman
I am still amazed by our company dress code - being a stylist allows me to express my creativity & have fun with my clothes.

completing the look

turtleneck: banana republic | vest: anthropologie | jeans: dl1961 | belt: asos | shoes: aquatalia
The best way to make your outfit look complete & well thought out: add a layer. I almost always put on a vest or cropped jacket over everything. Makes you look effortlessly put together :)
