A lot of things have changed the past few months.  I got married, changed jobs and most importantly: got a haircut. With the new job I haven't had much time to think about anything but eating, sleeping and menswear. So hopefully now that I have settled into my new position, I can start blogging again.

our wedding: the reception

With almost 2 years of planning we pulled off the most incredible day put together by some amazing vendors. Not to mention our amazing friends and family who traveled from all over the country to be with us on our special day.

our wedding: reception details

(my reaction to the room)

****
When it came to the design of our wedding day, everything revolved around the flowers.  Our vision was to have a whimsical yet romantic wedding with a lot of flowers. Renee, at Frontier Flowers, wanted to make sure the dining room was a big reveal after the cocktail hour aboard the Lady of the Lake.  She made sure the doors were locked so no one could sneak a peek.  And we are so happy she did.  My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw the room. It was everything we had envisioned and more.
